Our Central Coast spice blend— originally designed to re-create the flavors of California barbecue from our childhood— is a deliciously flavorful, low-sodium, all-purpose seasoning blend that is just as great on poultry, pork, seafood, fresh vegetables, soups and potatoes as it is on the classic grilled tri-tip.   The Central Coast of California is home to California barbecue and dates back to the 1800s when local ranchers would host Spanish-style feasts for their vaqueros, family and friends.  What is known today as “Santa Maria barbecue” evolved from this tradition and the grilled sirloin tri-tip is the star.
