Our Happy Burro chorizo seasoning is a deliciously flavorful, low-sodium, multi-purpose seasoning blend that is great on poultry, pork, beef, seafood, fresh vegetables and beans.   When the Spanish invaded Mexico in the early 16th century, they brought with them the pigs that would evolve into the most beloved Mexican sausage.  Unlike Spanish Chorizo, which is firm and dry like salami;  Mexican Chorizo is fresh.  Our Happy Burro chorizo seasoning is great for making your own healthy chorizo at home using ground pork, turkey, chicken or shrimp.  Also used as a marinade for carne asada or as a classic taco seasoning and to flavor beans.
